Last week, the largest number of you all in some weeks looked at my website. I'm so happy. And I'm happy, too, that my new novel, Rough Edges,
will be published on Amazon Kindle, in a few days. I'll make it free for a couple of days when it is first published, and all my other books will be free for those days, as well. Please watch for an announcement here as well as seeing my books on Amazon
listed as free.
Also, As soon as Rough Edges is published, I intend to get Calbert and His Adventures, my popular 12 chapter children's
book, published on Kindle as quickly as possible. It was originally published by Aton Press in 1990. Aton Press went out of business in 1997, but my Calbert book
has been available from independent booksellers in the U.K. and the U.S. for years on Amazon, both in paperback and in library binding hard-back editions. Just recently, I have discovered my Calbert book listed on Barnes & Noble online with
my three other children's books which have been on Barnes for a while now. I especially like the Barnes & Noble listings because you can read the entire 5-star reviews of the books just below the pictures of the book covers.
In my previous Blog, I think I asked if anybody knew why little ducks walk softly (one of my
husband's favorite questions for little children and a few grownups!) He usually gets a laugh when he says, "Because little ducks can't walk hardly"
If you get a chance to read the first three chapters of my new novel, Rough Edges, in the Book Excerpts section of this website, I would
truly appreciate your comments about it. I need to know how readers feel about it. Please, please write something in the Contact Me section of this website. And please lete know if there is anything you would like me to write about, and if you have any
questions about writing or getting a book published please send them to me.
I have another novel coming in a couple of months. I am working on a sequel to my Hellfire and Snowdrops, which received 5-stars from a Readers' Favorites reviewer, and a number of requests for a follow-on
novel to tell what happened to beautiful Alexis, and Michael, who fell in love with her.
I am keeping my husband busy getting my already-written half-dozen children's books into publication, in addition to my novels. He says he wants to do a couple of his own non-fiction how to books
when he gets my novels, children's books, short stories, cat picture books, and poetry book published. And I'm continuing to write!
Until next time, stay happy and well and enjoy the shopping!
