Well, the past days have been very interesting. First, our refrigerator quit. We had just managed to transfer everything to an old fridge and a freezer we have in our utility room
when our microwave quit! Good grief, what a time we've been having.
Yesterday, my younger daughter's husband drove over two and a half hours to our house bringing many of his tools so he could make the refrigerator enclosure a little bit wider so as to fit the new fridge. It was difficult to find a refrigerator small enough to fit the space that was made back in 1976.
The noise of the saw and the sander scared the dickens out of our cats.
Then my son in law began removing
the old microwave that I had paid to have installed back in 1998. It had mounting screws hidden all over the place! Took him over two hours to figure out how to do it. He worked five hours straight and finally decided to go home at ten p.m. and finally
got there around one a.m.
He and my daughter, who had worked from one p.m. to nine p.m. selling $2000
dollars worth of perfume (she could sell icemakers to northern Alaskans) slept until one p.m. and went to work on the house next door which they are hoping to sell soon. But they forgot take their cellphones and my husband's calls and texts to
them got no response.
Worried, my husband called security where they live, and my daughter called
us immediately after the security officer left.
Too many interruptions to my husband's work on his book.
Today marks our 821st mensaversary! We count the months.
I'm adding something new to my Interesting Stuff page.
I'll wrtie again as soon as I can.
Happy Holidays and Merry
Christmas to all.
